Key Responsibilities are as follows:: V1 {" A, Z) o0 ~( H% O
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services

L. a7 n+ L•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
* E7 S) b8 _% o! j•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
# J) o0 x* v+ v1 U- r- t1 w•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.3 k2 _* k5 s* m3 P5 U3 Z# C! J4 u
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential1 z9 G, V- A1 O7 Q: a5 c
* z, _$ J3 T5 P W( K4 w: cQualifications:: [0 x' `) ^9 N2 E
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
% L# t* ]$ F; W0 y0 Y•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
+ X1 E. G) l) T4 s3 N! C•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
' f0 I7 Z: @4 y' F8 E9 S•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential ' f8 K0 U" g1 |0 o# {
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.* t( B3 W v6 Y; v2 O0 m c- U
