Key Responsibilities are as follows:
, T. f. \9 G$ x& E) u5 V: O8 i2 l! D4 K•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
# e' m4 f) B' X% I4 l•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies) n" K# r/ B0 i) g U
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
4 e0 {/ F0 ]7 y0 [0 N+ ?+ e•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
& J" _6 e& i8 E' v3 s* N•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

; C! C2 f% h0 t: B) n, ]7 u3 OQualifications:4 H6 n% N) t9 Z5 y( c. `( t
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;5 F' @0 @4 w% \# E
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
/ @5 N0 W1 ]) X2 B* W3 F•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
! x3 L# z @2 A! [+ G•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
# {2 K/ ]7 u' H. B4 j•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
