This position reports directly to the District Program Manager

Key Responsibilities are as follows:
& C, h; D3 @" L: b6 [4 E2 D•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services % O7 e6 W I& O9 D: j4 Y
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies7 S: p# g2 u r, c0 M: T
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
1 y/ F# @1 @" T! k•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.; G! a7 k& E" ~. ]. Y* ?3 [9 Q
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
0 M- L0 `3 g0 Q) L" B# Y0 r•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;, j, ~, H3 B/ J
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;" i$ J1 G. G1 t9 N
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
. G; b/ X( |6 R1 W9 c•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
