Key Responsibilities are as follows:) D4 r* v7 z/ t! U
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
5 \- `) K" j6 m•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies, V1 o; m" k6 Y" ^
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting4 G$ w# P5 P1 K: s \" v9 @( w
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.; T( F! i0 n( e
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
: \& m- }6 e5 X- i% s# ^( R4 G0 A3 ]•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
1 I* P x; ]3 Z8 E% ^3 V& t•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
) {+ W! u) p( l# G( U•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
4 n. q0 }$ J% c# U8 y# l8 Y0 {4 D•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
