Key Responsibilities are as follows:
$ D9 p! e' G8 T- `$ P9 r$ H  u' D8 s•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services * S1 k/ p& [' T, g, p9 Q6 ^/ a
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of  up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies2 `0 d2 Y4 J. @! H1 b4 L! b
•Required skills include:  understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
3 E8 }$ n1 H2 S" p/ u" p7 o•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
  W+ V. u  [0 S- t•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential  e& D7 e& ?# C% f6 c' _- `

Qualifications:
) n7 t1 s  Y) E8 ]•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;% o. T( Z$ L& i6 \& R5 N7 o& j$ P+ |8 q
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
5 @8 \1 K- c0 o* I6 m•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
, `2 R3 I% d' c: ?: U( U•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
' z9 i( G7 C. X1 m, y. {2 ?•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
