Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

We are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

" I" y! L  w$ o: _! Z* @% @The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
0 b( R& x& I# X! i) L Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
  o( n( Z$ c. T Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
 Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
) K5 d3 o% [$ F5 D Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
' W; S- h: t# t" _( P0 e% r: U Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
 Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
 Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  M/ B- W: }4 E& w An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
