Job Responsibilities
* L& N' D5 u5 l- o2 P• To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
2 i+ E, K& u' ?- G/ C. I/ ?• Oversee hotel security requirements.
4 g) Q5 M0 G+ M! w2 \• To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.& R0 b, I/ @8 B3 ] M( |2 U0 x
• To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
7 O* u1 Y- c( z0 P• To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
; x' {: k/ a% n3 a/ N0 j' a1 R• To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
4 {; v/ s( G$ {8 p1 |; R• To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
* b B5 E" n5 A6 T• Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.
% G7 ~' U! f$ B/ H! R/ ^5 g• Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.

• Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. 1 w5 R" y' L3 k. U ^
• Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
3 @- z0 h& A+ F' E& R( }" O" w5 L• Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.% C7 P. Y4 l* }2 X5 J2 r4 W$ w; C
• Attend Cluster meetings. # [( T& I& v. v3 @3 `5 Z
• Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.. y: l2 }0 F- B) a
• Handle PMS computer problems in each department
1 e/ B- K/ g- z8 }• Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
, P- s7 ]0 K, W• Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center: [3 S$ C" {% V& t8 S9 e! u
• Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float / `- E, Y* K2 Q3 c2 @5 ]4 C3 A
• Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager( y4 ~' w" V0 |4 |( W Z# a

- [1 U: h. Z3 i. \- ~" N ]- c•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property9 Z$ A! Z+ k. S& I
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;) M" V* o0 l" v- h) g) x) B
• Ability to lead and develop;# r$ }8 S& X7 g2 K2 ^( l6 j
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;3 {9 n) X6 P: [3 t' [
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
