Job Description:
2 F# N6 b2 o; E" V9 IJob Responsibilities
5 D, v2 Q+ a% S) _1 C. X- q•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.5 ~- d( F9 ?, B! J# Q
•        Oversee hotel security requirements.
3 i% h0 L0 k$ m6 i- b" X•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.9 Q# O# W3 l. C5 X) [$ ?* e
•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.   g% r+ e( R) O+ z! r! n& p& a
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
4 C4 |6 D# K, G, _! f•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.& a2 `) m2 K' G& _9 V
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.5 i! R1 L& K! M
•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.1 o: Y# h" T1 g  e% x
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.   `2 l" s. c$ P, M5 B
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.   D' t8 L7 j/ ]& R( D1 R
•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
/ U' f4 N$ k# D•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. 2 o- B5 W. {/ ~$ P+ Q
•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.
9 ?: t. B. `& a/ D5 o4 x$ U, @•        Attend Cluster meetings.
' C5 c4 i+ M/ g: J2 r/ q4 g•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.8 J1 ?. F8 D+ d6 j
•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department % d- y; d) R' r5 j# h8 B- {+ g
•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
! Y) y" g1 s- k! i6 {& r•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center
+ N& S9 Q* B$ T•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float 5 z5 z$ S+ S! y: S  |8 B; [) x. q. y
•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager& d1 v; x- g/ a$ W' O6 f5 ]

•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
/ t/ g9 h) D2 t% W! J) n7 L• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;" L. K$ x& ], z& X0 \
• Ability to lead and develop;
' V' C- a. n5 w" U% B• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;
' s( K4 Z1 R, J* l) {: g  o% U( b* X• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;4 U. x& Z% T  M- R! L5 |3 C
• Ability to work within deadlines;
% ]& m7 a- p: J9 s( N• High level of creativity and innovation;0 }: X* A& s6 Q( K/ u
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
