Job Description:

9 L9 r' p7 i8 U•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.3 U, n: B- J. s) C- g0 h3 P' |4 T. r
•        Oversee hotel security requirements. 7 s% R% J, N# j" D! o4 C
•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.- z. U* A$ A! e# S9 j: G& X( L
•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. , G0 d# M! Y: Q& O5 u6 C7 l
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
) M# G& F6 g4 s( B+ X$ t0 E•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.. {: P  c; c& {4 d# y
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
% d, n) S7 \) }) q, A/ W' w9 |•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.# x' A4 f  y# Y9 Q' C
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. 3 Z! L+ S$ a' l! ?# W
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
. J0 x/ M4 U% b1 V+ a8 y•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.

, J% Q# w8 t2 V2 n  M$ Y•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware./ u0 X; _3 H4 Y& j* l: \/ y
•        Attend Cluster meetings.
1 H" C  o/ ~7 I•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
/ {' L) n+ J7 R8 m$ b" S  _•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department : n& a- ?% K+ t1 ]3 @
•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies4 O6 ~# U% Q# w  U% j+ J+ }
•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center

•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager% e# H! k1 u# ?9 @2 s% w' i4 Q

Requirements:- S  J9 s0 y- c  @& E4 P; V! G
•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
! P2 f  I! w" ~• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
! T5 r/ ^$ B% a- U• Ability to lead and develop;
0 q3 i# M% K9 j0 {! U• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;
# ~+ a6 v9 a/ _, S/ {# Q/ j) c• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
4 ]3 x) o* v' @) O+ B4 U8 O• Ability to work within deadlines;
1 `, D1 b# g! H; X" m- _• High level of creativity and innovation;
