! m0 h& w2 E: P# T9 ~8 D% U• Offer support and assistance to the General Manager in the following areas: # b6 p& t9 x$ K% b7 y1 I7 D; M+ R
• Develop, prepare, execute and achieve financial goals;
$ {6 \2 [) ]( l& g• Provide timely and accurate financial statements; + p: D' l+ g& R# S
• Maintain the system of internal checks designed to prevent or promptly detect unauthorized transactions;
7 C/ t+ N; @; x- ^& y• To analyze Hotel’s performance versus budget and investigate variances as required;) W- z1 g! t5 M0 ~ E
• To monitor operational expenditures in conjunction with approved budgets;
1 {: t2 Y) b& T• To reconcile all supplier accounts, to post all payables, and to pay vendors in accordance with due dates and cash flow projections;& N+ G& ?' ~, V2 z z/ n
• To monitor city ledger and guest ledger transactions, and to collect all receivables on a timely basis;

• Maintain all company policies and procedures;

) b' f2 w: V; z' L" L. u" I6 \• To ensure all Hotel’s contracts have proper authorization, negotiations for renewal and are properly filed and are easily available for corporate review;& V4 |$ m& r7 L! Q( D& K/ k
• To ensure that there is an effective system of purchasing, receiving, and control of supplies in place at all times with proper requisition procedures; S; A3 [& A* U; N6 L, N" s
• To ensure that usual and exceptional purchases are approved consistent with the budgeting and forecasting system;
& A! f5 F% P2 T$ h: N• To ensure all accounting procedures comply with corporate accounting systems;
* X v7 b% s$ ?7 @$ q! D• To provide month-end packages to the Corporate Office and assist in the preparation of financial statements;
+ o* y( |$ z/ g, h V• Supervise and assist the Accounting support Team (Night Audit) + t7 S5 i; q8 Z) i& U" Z( F; _, V
• Issue and monitor cash floats;

• Strong accounting knowledge to handle a complete accounting cycle in a centralized environment.

• Supervisory experience within the hotel industry; ( [) w) _2 P0 R9 ^
• Knowledge of development and execution of business plans and budgets;

8 H# W: `# o2 `2 c• Proficient / familiarity with computerized systems such as : hotel PMS, Oracle and ADP payroll systems. L$ k; e( c: S

• Ability to work within deadlines and under pressure;
