Job Description:
To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
8 R8 A: O# [, u" b" r6 D' J2 p• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
& }& p6 p( x: h9 J• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
- c; ?$ L# }! U• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
, T& d3 ~( n6 C) G! W3 u5 H8 R• Participate in trade shows;
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
$ w/ Q0 X  e1 @$ y( B/ C) W  h* |• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;

- f) V% S* W7 N- O# w& Z) v•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
0 Z6 J5 C3 `* z9 v7 @% f$ B• Ability to lead and develop;
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
0 i5 d, P0 u9 @/ y2 }• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
0 j! w# E; c& E2 P4 Y• Ability to work within deadlines;
. }$ D) K9 O2 d; G• High level of creativity and innovation;
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
