Compensation:  Journeyman 1 Automotive Mechanic (or 4th year Apprentices)

/ R' h# i" P  VHours of Work:  This position works 44 hours per week.
8 \* S6 s" h. @$ G* Q) ADays of work are Monday through Friday, Saturday rotation.
# X/ w# Z! o8 QGroup benefits package starts after 3 months.

Full-time journeyman to maintain and repair an assortment of vehicles with emphasis placed on preventative maintenance.

! ~1 t0 d1 [4 p) dDiagnose problems and perform all types of repairs to a wide variety of speciality vehicles
% h+ a& ?: ^' B1 L( SRequisition parts and materials, as required.
6 l8 N  y; G" G) y9 CCreate and complete work orders, gather fleet information and input data into the computerized management system.
Provide specialized training and guidance to apprentice(s).
Access technical information using Snap-on Shop Key on-line automotive support program and communicate using e-mail.
Other assigned duties.

: G- b  K3 T# T4 EApplicants must possess a valid Journeyman Automotive Mechanic certificate or equivalent recognized by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.
1 c! k% c# W; R* b9 c0 s' ]/ l$ ~Applicants also must have a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalent).
5 P) l0 y7 D' BPreference will be given to those who have current experience diagnosing and repairing North American and/or foreign vehicles.

An enhanced security clearance will be conducted.
A Driving Abstract with no more than six demerit points (current within three months) must be provided if contacted for an interview.
