我收到CIBC的通知，其中一句话，我不理解

我的理解是，你是non-resident,银行要收你100块的押金。  不知道对不对。

每次你在自动存/取款机或柜台存支票，一般会有个3-5 business days延迟，在银行clear之前，这笔存款是不available的，虽然总数上把这笔款加上去了。从这个通知看着像是，你存款后，应该可以马上动用这笔里面的最高100元。比如你帐户有1000，存了个500的支票，你要马上取所有钱出来，最多只能取1100。有些人记录好的话，帐户能有很高的额度。

说白了就是不管你在柜台和机器上存多少钱的personal cheque，只有100块钱是相当于存入现金，可以当场兑现使用，其他余额都要等5个business days之后才能解封
