Responsibilities

! ]3 V) H" }+ G1 I8 f2 d# Z·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear
- y* \& }: W2 K6 _7 F7 J
·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters

9 X: f* v# O" ?1 ?' \* M* T  I3 m·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

( l- Z+ G$ E& ~3 z. t·         Reviewing vendor drawings

·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

% _& w% L. t7 I1 F. ?. V* P+ y6 _·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

·         Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

Position Requirements

·         BSc in Electrical Engineering
) {* _1 r" D( L. z0 f. m7 q: Q
·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training
" l+ m( @2 h% z
; p5 n; @/ C' c- O% ?& w" f* {·         Attention to detail is a must
- U! A7 o( C( v$ _+ ]
2 Q  i2 x, C! y' z2 q" ]& X% s) }·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset
. j, m/ o6 {  q. j7 l- E
·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

·         Ability to manage the engineering of multiple projects simultaneously

·         Be willing to travel

Work Conditions

Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
