Responsibilities

·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear
; \8 h2 Q& w* M. e. ^' f$ j
( x4 O3 o: p6 }+ v·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters

+ |' n. \2 _$ S; O·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings
% j, O! e* _( j: |9 q: M
·         Reviewing vendor drawings

: v  M- n9 M) W) M) n·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

% R$ a% k; S' l·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

Position Requirements

4 E$ x& c- G: p8 j0 D* a·         BSc in Electrical Engineering
1 ~* ?4 M3 L+ q. f1 z$ d0 h2 S
1 O! N$ m/ U0 d# D; X·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training
6 q- h: Y/ n" h* w# B) @$ E- v
8 H, |  Q7 O3 L  u·         Attention to detail is a must

: M# Q; O# X" y+ j* h·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

/ {3 q1 U- ^9 u( f9 R·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

: k% A2 C& K2 c& Y+ _  k·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·         Strong written and oral communication skills.

Work Conditions

7 \0 c% p. e1 nOvertime may be required to meet project deadlines.

Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management.
