Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
2 u3 h( @. }& F* b# j; ~! d1 p, H• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
3 e1 u8 b( A& D# {* v" w6 O. \• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately9 U0 k: N- Q( B& `' @' F
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
: m0 L, i( m( e, S" K. Z2 C• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents9 w* t5 Q- l( K5 [1 f$ _
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

• Keep the reception area tidy and clean

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
# h5 g1 ], ~1 q# [0 G: r• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person
6 `# ?8 D* Y. @7 w/ }• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset+ H* k6 A( M3 v, A" A# x; p( I" z
• Good English writing and oral communication skills

Qualifications:. l) M6 ~" O) Q- d$ X0 y4 S C
• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
6 O R& u" z, }% i• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment7 ?) ~) ^& _) N9 V5 h
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
, c: x2 q0 Z( S9 t• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
