Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. ; k0 X# @. q" ]2 i

0 a0 y/ V# \$ a u7 E• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
9 }( g7 O( c) z# |• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
6 Q* A: w. A7 N0 n• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately+ O& z& b1 Y! N% A3 k L! P
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
' V% D2 r5 d5 M• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents1 a5 H# H" a4 @
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker

• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters

• Perform general office duties as assigned

• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset5 A/ Y- N4 {6 S# H0 Q
• Good English writing and oral communication skills% ?, A% f1 a1 {- G/ H: I
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
4 P/ P% n- w# v$ B: `3 a• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook# ]5 P$ \" V7 W3 p! C4 h
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment. |4 P" A5 W# _. Q# z* }, J0 [
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism0 s( z6 S% q% W8 o; O
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
