A male wearing a balaclava and carrying a handgun was spotted by a pedestrian walking in the area of Falconer Road and Riverbend Road at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. 4 {/ E) t! v7 ?7 Y N6 t: z2 J 6 u; Z9 p u& y$ S* W" { wPolice arrested the man later in the afternoon at the Terwillegar Recreation Centre, after receiving a tip from a resident.1 F$ ^- W' s) y8 h

A search of the man's home turned up a BB pistol and balaclava matching the description given by witnesses. The man is charged with possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes.7 n" {0 d7 B" i! u/ P: h
