Mandatory Qualifications:

•        Several years of practical experience in Trade Finance activities

3 O7 v4 g# Y" P( Z6 E0 C% ^•        Thorough and complete knowledge of the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits, the Bills of Exchange Act, INCOTERMS, world shipping practices, and Canadian / Foreign customs

8 ?7 s8 C9 E: X* U' \•        Strong knowledge of statutory requirements, International Law and Customs relating to Letters of Credit and Bank policy as high level transactional support to customers is required

•        Capable of applying knowledge in accurately assessing / mitigating transaction and compliance risks and making judgemental decisions on problem transactions

7 O+ V5 A6 ^% m  \  C- a* ^6 W•        Comfortable working in an environment involving significant risk exposure to the Bank.

4 E' u9 h8 k% _•        Possess an ability to evaluate high risk, complex transactions and make recommendations to the Senior Assistant Manager to minimize and or mitigate potential losses to the Bank and its customers.

- s5 Q+ ^# a0 _0 U; t•        have the equivalent of a Canadian bachelor’s degree and a completed education credential assessment
•        have at least 3 years of international work experience in their field
) i2 a% T$ e9 n, S% B9 J0 n•        have little or no career related Canadian work experience
* U9 v; P( @$ E& z& ^& H0 F•        have been in Canada for less than 3 years
•        are legally able to work in Canada
