Job Description:
$ k1 G, K! |6 d* F  z•        Complete and post staff schedules
' K2 b' E2 d6 _4 R" j* M( ~•        Complete inventory and ordering on a weekly basis and adjustments on a daily basis. Complete all paperwork and adjustment on time and deliver to the office on or before deadlines
3 B3 z- N, q1 u6 Y% [•        Maintain business records as outlined in the Subway Operations Manual, and as directed by management
$ N. o+ E; [+ O0 R: s; s! m•        Communicate changes of food formulas, standards, etc. to staff
: @9 h$ z: k) l) g& K7 c•        Support local and national marketing initiatives. New windows up before opening on start date
•        Ensure all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policies are followed
2 u1 m# ~! Q* ?7 X6 }•        Recruit, reward, train, evaluate, and terminate staff, supervising between 10 – 20 employees
5 o0 H& h  c+ E; W# {•        Identify and contact prospective customers to promote sales
9 C0 j  g# y& p/ N0 ?5 C•        Plan special events and promotions, participate in all events and promotions sponsored by management
! X8 B$ i( K0 u; E6 G8 _•        Complete online coursework in the University of Subway as directed. Monitor staff progress on University of Subway
4 W( Q0 r7 d/ s5 i' K. G0 _. v% H•        Ensure bank deposits are done daily
•        Complete other duties as may be assigned by management.

Skills/Requirements:

, ?5 M! ?1 |# p2 a  \' _  b8 S7 hEducation: Completion of secondary school is required
1 S" h: Y2 T2 n: j7 J0 M8 h5 vExperience: 2-3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in the food services sector. QSR experience an asset
Credentials: Alberta Health and Food Safety Certificate (paid for by employer)
0 d& T, M0 b& t; Q8 P8 L  j- z+ ]) dPhysical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/ cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must be able to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds on occasion
