CALGARY — A teen girl was taken to Foothills Hospital in potentially life-threatening condition Monday morning after a head-on collision that involved a "complicated extrication" near Chestermere.4 l; s7 u+ D, Y$ i2 y& Y
0 {/ w" ~+ X0 G8 L3 H0 @0 m2 R6 oAt around 8:30 a.m., RCMP, Chestermere fire crews and Calgary EMS personnel were called to Highway 791 just east of Calgary after a pick-up truck and smaller car crashed head-on, said EMS spokesman Stuart Brideaux.

STARS Air Ambulance was called to take the girl to the Foothills Hospital.
