- recruiting, performing security and reference checks, providing orientation, supervising, referring and placing volunteers/ `3 P$ ]; t+ v5 ?- E& j9 g6 M' b
- train volunteers for ISP and provide duties) E A: U4 w; u/ t: H
- train volunteers for Centre and provide duties+ k! Z0 }$ s$ `$ ^
- provide volunteers for various programs
& W: W; U1 B/ t+ N8 b3 \- coordinate, update Volunteer Manual
; b5 i5 ^) A& D1 T. ]- planning and coordinating Volunteer Appreciation
, g: j" r3 l' _& K5 Y- ~- ^2 Z. [- participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as needed

- promoting volunteerism through various media including the 3 main Chinese newspapers, Chinese radio station and the Chinese television, Fairchild TV, brochures, pamphlets, booth displays, special events

- planning and implementing training sessions for staff that work with volunteers

- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre5 d, J5 a1 X; @0 O' J

- degree or diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or related experience and education
5 e4 I8 o! P" Q$ u& d6 ~8 F- good oral and written Chinese and English skills4 i G0 z/ J; @7 f0 p
- experience in volunteer coordinating and immigrant services
3 k2 V' G' R+ W" E/ t- leadership skills4 g, q6 G9 ?2 M3 \5 }
- management and supervision skills
