EARLY LEARNING FAMILY PROGRAM

The program will be offered at St. Teresa Catholic School every Tuesday for seven
% Y Q* h7 }# G( [9 l8 kweeks beginning March 6th and ending April 24th, 2012.

# f6 g% i( m: J* A& ?. hRhymes that Bind: 3:45pm to 4:45pm0 m6 X' W) h9 v4 w M) o. x6 l6 D. g4 X
This “drop-in” program introduces parents to various strategies that can support1 j2 M, L9 P& X) X
their child’s early literacy and language experiences. It is recommended for
% V) [& g# H% f! R7 Jchildren that have been identified with language needs. RHYMES THAT BIND is an) {4 \' L+ @9 q% D
oral family literacy program for parents and their children ages 0 – 6. It* s7 p! `$ ]$ I/ m9 E
encourages parents to sing, rhyme, talk and play with their children in a relaxed,6 A2 T$ C2 o* o! s
fun, and supportive environment., S3 `/ R6 l, M* u6 m- U. h4 O6 \
Each family will receive a booklet of songs and rhymes at the last session. No, m0 s# m* }4 g4 D- m/ Q+ |4 y& n! |6 A8 O
