Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week
Shifts:                 Rotational / day / night / weekends

) X+ M6 I& {$ c2 t1 mMain duties:
* ^3 z1 [0 x: b2 T  Y•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
$ u( ^: R( y1 l: A9 {/ J  I! g•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
1 b7 Q% ]) K9 B•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
: }- p$ I" l9 `2 Y6 U•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
+ _. r* g2 w1 ?! {•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

7 R  p  k3 l5 B9 m•        Completion of secondary education is required
•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
  M2 |1 m6 }8 k3 J% c•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
; z7 k! r! s( d•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
