Effective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:0 r0 s: Q9 E5 {9 {7 W' B+ H3 D) h
1) Any bodily injury or death;# C$ I2 _5 c) V0 r7 O' [3 I
2) A Hit-and-Run;2 P& U7 s2 z5 Y7 b9 h& n; r
3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;. a# q, P- q8 t$ X
4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;0 h& |0 d7 b$ N
5) An out-of-province vehicle.1 G( z7 |, q5 f e: x

Normally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.
