7 t& e- H8 I1 J7 x" MEffective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:0 K) p! F+ v/ J6 h4 @
1) Any bodily injury or death;5 _( U% v' y) [0 [% P3 i! |; C
2) A Hit-and-Run;3 a& H% |& {* w0 ]4 A7 n4 _8 Z
3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;9 A/ R( ^/ b( c& t# f
4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;/ a; a* g& B! _6 {- ^7 E3 P+ @- e d8 p
5) An out-of-province vehicle.

) M$ O; B, R3 M+ eNormally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.
