What is the criteria for reporting a traffic accident? Can I phone it in?
+ s7 s: W \$ V: w9 NEffective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:1 Q3 I/ o, `9 V$ l+ b; o
1) Any bodily injury or death;
! q" G+ u$ [" P( g# U. H* {+ d2) A Hit-and-Run;. J: P Y; @3 \4 X# A% x
3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;
1 L" @! f- X/ ^4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene;
9 U2 k1 K# U, _3 T9 Y5) An out-of-province vehicle.

9 v2 x/ `; i& O3 \4 e: p9 S$ _" lNormally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.
