• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
/ G o# Z% e7 B0 V3 V. C0 ?6 }, f• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.5 P; t6 M" t* k0 C# i! D
• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. Q8 e8 X' x0 n8 V1 w* L
• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.3 M ?! X: o& g
• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required., a H; P0 V( B, J. ~' M0 l1 ^/ m
• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.& \* v$ A/ u% P6 D, {8 t" V) S; v
• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).# [ e, }. ^: g/ b
• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.

• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.6 Y+ b: J% [% d4 O6 d& a. o8 j
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

3 @: H' [5 x2 c2 i; U" q mRequirements:
8 c+ A! I8 N/ \! c• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
$ _+ X( I: k6 O7 W% w• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. . L+ Z5 i$ G0 `6 f' k% S
• Strong Union Relations experience required. + i3 ~. E n1 w- {2 A! k
• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
