• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
; e2 Y% k& s$ w2 L' e" L; ]; h1 h7 L• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
|8 W* @2 j" u* p1 ~! n• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
+ W# T! |. S# }9 P4 @• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
$ s1 ]! C0 ]4 l5 w• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.3 v% m. Z: Y# g7 U; o+ p
• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.+ g) n9 t4 b* q. E
• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.- K* i ^! d) y7 H& k- o. X: M
• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).: p- `5 _) R% X z) X/ z9 U- |
• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.

• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

Qualifications
3 M& ^: e: J- n( U! Q. k8 O5 WRequirements:& P3 u$ d$ F, ?% [ W2 k
• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. / y3 f- t' G% f+ W3 D b; z
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
, o% d7 u# ]4 a6 @• Strong Union Relations experience required. " K" L4 b5 A' t& h0 w" Q; M+ o2 J
• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
