Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
, W$ {2 q8 y0 D2 w6 UReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:7 N1 I- _+ v* B ]3 t( S
• Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.0 q0 Z5 O9 U1 M3 {
• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
/ Q8 n. F4 h1 [( @- I s$ r) ~6 W• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
& q9 S2 i5 p1 O4 \• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.* Z7 k) U, M4 I. M9 F8 W+ I2 f
• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. ! ^. q+ k# p% p! o
• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
. o* s+ U! E. I+ t- s• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
% P x' U' U7 S2 x5 e3 l• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.7 [/ Z4 c+ ]/ N0 D0 z
• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).1 p* Q3 U( m; f2 p* B6 j1 P5 g
• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.% I) p8 E7 X( I/ v8 A; K$ k
• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.5 H7 W8 |3 R) V7 i
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings.

Qualifications
" ?! d$ r4 S+ s) \Requirements:0 ?$ ? I9 Y/ J) q- t! L& g
• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
& H' \! V/ i6 w2 e$ Q% F• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
p) ?) O! u, i: x2 m, i1 Z# M• Strong Union Relations experience required.
' m+ r- ^2 k' V2 I• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
b4 z& `9 m+ ~# D• CHRP Designation is an asset.6 j7 ]% ~! V, }7 A
