• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
) [) r6 h! X, X0 A( U5 J0 W• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
7 E! K+ ~' K6 ~' K X4 V$ H T" n3 n# X• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.; F* _' H) Q3 O/ r- F: \% ^8 F
• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. ) ~6 q; t a9 N8 r2 l+ t+ O
• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
2 G+ q% }7 P/ Q9 E/ K• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.

• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.# h' L6 D! H3 k" n( _; f9 W
• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.8 S5 B3 x! ^" F2 N( j/ `
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings., c6 I/ w1 o' r' m3 n% O w
• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.# a- o7 I7 A6 Q, Q) k7 A
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality. i4 k4 ?5 d: J/ d8 P. }
• Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications
+ X1 D0 u' m0 \- S# Z; fRequirements:% `8 l$ X! A5 r S6 {/ G F3 Z
• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. 8 t2 C* V# G! y
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. . E" ?- d5 m& n8 s9 Q
• Strong Union Relations experience required. + s% i3 {0 R( `
• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset./ p1 P i7 u( k: o r
• CHRP Designation is an asset.
