Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
  k* O9 E+ U; v! Q5 \* ^4 M- [Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
) [) r6 h! X, X0 A( U5 J0 W•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
7 E! K+ ~' K6 ~' K  X4 V$ H  T" n3 n# X•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
2 G+ q% }7 P/ Q9 E/ K•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
4 {2 M0 g6 ^/ x; N( J* z/ A" `•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
. r7 {( c4 A  i# P2 _# y•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications
+ X1 D0 u' m0 \- S# Z; fRequirements:
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
