Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
" d; B6 z2 ]- t& V5 ?Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
" w% O. M8 n' v* T( s* i* Z• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.0 B, R! G* T- e7 Z
• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.

• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.' Z6 y `" y$ P: [: N) n
• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.2 f) _; C2 M; F8 B: f& r( V% `, C' c
• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).; I( r8 O3 w& E0 F( k: P
• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.5 K% T& V, ~/ P2 P' x0 U5 s
• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures. }4 ?, b# J7 }9 P2 I0 ^2 d
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings.. T6 D$ p% R ^1 e! S
• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.7 Z/ Y/ _. ?' B3 a) w7 I

• Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Requirements:
; T, Q( H: R* R& j6 m8 C• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. S/ o' E5 Z! r" }% x
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. / O" B2 c5 w. |, N
• Strong Union Relations experience required. % o! P' j: r8 G3 U
• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
( N0 b5 ]/ i# E7 {3 Q4 _• CHRP Designation is an asset.
