Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.- U' C2 Y" Z% ~+ r0 p
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:$ |& x* H* K2 R+ h, K) Q7 _
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
; c3 _7 L/ M- D4 ]5 [* x•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.) O- e; K+ K! t# S" p7 W
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
9 P, }, V5 \0 `•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.) V6 G% l/ ]( T! D5 s8 N7 m7 p  a, g
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
2 [- }  `0 [! U•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
, J5 s/ c. D2 J  `0 ^+ U% o•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
2 o# m! ~* C0 A5 ~•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.6 h* a6 c+ a2 A0 D5 Q
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).7 v0 z' c# V6 n$ r$ O- M7 t
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.3 G" y7 w& _/ g
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.6 |  J2 v" \: r- b
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
# `4 z2 F) V- E1 Y1 l  ~9 }•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.# N6 S; v# S, ~" U

5 d9 s; m$ W/ d) aRequirements:, h' C& y5 D2 J, `5 D" E) V3 V
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. ( V! R& {% u4 o4 O1 y
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
1 t6 s1 ]+ I( y% X  f0 y* F+ p•        Strong Union Relations experience required. " k* T, N( K- o" F& L
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
' h2 \$ B6 `  w* K0 R- S' [" y•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
