it all depand on what you want. a diamond ring can be broken down into the following 4 categories:

the solitary princess diamond is the most popular style for an engagement ring. solitaty means a single large diamond (not a whole bunch of small diamonds or dusts but with the total weight added to a 1.0 ct) and princess means it's cut into a round shape on top (not square or oval shape)
