Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
' T1 k5 H" _9 W/ S% ^Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
. a- i$ z) |8 T5 ?+ v•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
* [% }" G& L7 `8 w•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
. A* i# T4 S$ h* p& ro        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
2 G1 z6 k/ f/ O) Z+ c; e•        Assist where needed in application questions.
( r. f9 L- c1 H•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
  {3 @" }( C  I; ]- {o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
  J( K" a" R) o$ b/ R8 Bo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
3 ?" s4 G; C7 \" S+ C, C•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports

o        Assist in writing and new product specification
; l1 f7 I  x3 h; fo        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
/ a2 a3 N( k' m4 Y' No        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
2 x: L% _/ ?. r) p. ~5 ]•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
7 L3 S) X7 B  W) N' K2 ?: d+ N% hList of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
/ H( ?6 T" h6 q% w•        Proficient in software use and writing.
1 \4 k% Y  m+ I) P$ p•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
9 V" o9 F% L  d) S- J•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
