Position Title: Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker. N" U5 B. p9 {) A( W) p( e! ~: P
Hours of Work: Part-time (10 hours per week)

# D) E& l1 w6 h* KPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person* h) l+ K* b, K( e4 n
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
" F+ z9 t4 g9 U0 x& P; G9 O• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately
& t$ g# N' {$ M• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
]% Y7 u2 i% @& H, @• Oversee the front counter when other front counter staff are on holiday or in trainings) L6 o6 S8 @ x6 B! n+ B' l
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
0 _' U X: H/ X* _• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker9 Z/ Y* p5 L3 v
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events
% ]- y$ V# u0 O- F3 F+ Y4 P$ x6 h• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

: p$ ~% y& S, p$ U$ c• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person. l" d& a) M- R1 M0 Q$ _7 g8 Z
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset7 B: L7 Q. l: i h8 r3 v2 v
• Good English writing and oral communication skills9 I4 _. h$ F( J! S( h8 P
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients0 M5 C' e2 ` i$ \& P
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook; |' h) S/ X( y+ [" T5 I$ m2 j: T
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

Qualifications:
7 } X+ v; Y1 ?: M• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
2 \5 G7 {( D: p9 I! S• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
3 y4 [/ H) v- m, q2 l. Q" X `• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
/ P; L" ~% H9 a• Ability to work well under minimal supervision, d# ~" r3 m1 ]$ Y+ @
