2 o, l7 Q( w* n% R* R3 t5 kPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. . • Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person3 d6 W& v9 j+ |* Q3 I" h
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST, H t* O6 m# ]) l% ]
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately4 T6 I) k- k) ^1 m; h7 Q7 l5 j
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter2 \1 ~* [# w- p& i6 x
• Oversee the front counter when other front counter staff are on holiday or in trainings
" r8 G$ X# v/ B, g1 A) j• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
; c$ V7 x: v! i5 l" z6 @' d* Y• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker! _* R7 t$ g' I1 ^' B+ l& H
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events

• Keep the reception area tidy and clean

• Maintain front counter service files& L0 c+ |7 K+ s% F

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
# w/ q# r5 N+ y. s• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person a+ }6 ?5 y0 i4 C; K) _9 a
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset
; [* k" Z/ c0 L# Q% Q7 S+ i• Good English writing and oral communication skills
& s! ^7 ]* G. Y% {& R• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients$ `7 X* \' S0 R! F9 s
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook0 |. h7 E/ h: J! q1 x6 m" r0 ]
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

Qualifications:& A( {* Y! g }" c+ _7 ]4 p
• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience 4 Q9 P8 ~6 ]9 n" a
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment
% F7 H' I( l8 b• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
# [4 ^& n$ z' a) y7 U• Ability to work well under minimal supervision5 j C1 M# ~8 z, \+ A, A0 h
