The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
0 b% y6 C) i+ u& k• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
" I/ {1 e7 V0 F& f# u+ }- A' M• Program implementation
1 g' K- n0 V8 _9 N/ b+ ?• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
1 F! k1 g  M, e8 S* P• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
# v# J8 k7 l$ x• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
, _+ f' [& l) t$ P/ _0 \& F• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
3 \( {: i) J4 K4 Z6 K1 W. `Education
2 |1 n# m% V+ X; ~8 U# H2 d1 t& N8 e• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
8 r& o" g8 \! p5 G0 gTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
2 \8 d  d/ e1 Y+ G7 Z1 \• Standard First Aid with CPR
" t/ n$ ~% T; _; }: y9 N1 K• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

1 H& R+ s* v4 ]" ~8 f/ V• Good verbal and written communication skills
* y! A, N% d1 b: a& o) ~• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
* o3 b. s, @' e& z" OSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
