The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

: \5 S" J+ E: U9 v2 _$ S" IResponsibilities include:
  t' ?! @5 Y2 Y5 Y• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
2 g( n! _+ }9 ]3 H5 u/ O• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
3 {1 C- P: f4 u3 R• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
' ~: N7 t+ \1 o  B& f• Behavior management
0 C9 z0 B  s( \4 I. F$ {+ X• Medication Administration
1 d" t. |% f  f6 l8 w) E9 V• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

5 `3 H/ C1 W; c9 FMinimum Qualifications:
' D5 [/ F+ i" X! `& dEducation
* R. H( ?) j" q. O6 e$ Z4 S6 q3 U• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
- V# O  b% L; E% [• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
: V% a$ m( k9 s* l7 g. V: W• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
5 g) r5 h2 U( s: ^! }$ [• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
/ t( O( P' `6 q. ?  t• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
6 K3 K) |7 Z. f4 S6 q. p( {7 O• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
) {+ N5 n7 ^5 X1 jSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
