The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

1 @3 N7 }7 w4 C5 u9 eResponsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
/ K) k9 v( x/ n+ S$ ~# d* A3 Y• Program implementation
) @2 R" F# ?& p2 c# c• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
0 O9 `% N( ~; K! B% y9 j• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
1 h4 l5 q6 ~- a6 P0 g1 D• Medication Administration
- J( ^& v7 n5 E/ q& S1 `• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
# P' @. E; {* U8 dEducation
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
* M4 A, T( l! @4 Y- lTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
: c, ?4 W. E& J+ }* B. Y( e• Standard First Aid with CPR
1 z" g- @8 j, \6 e. {• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

Skill Sets
& E! B, `7 ~8 j/ s$ [) R9 c$ i• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
' n" ~. W' ]; u4 GSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
