The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

+ d: Q9 G5 }3 Q• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
2 v6 m( t4 K8 g* E• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
! r% G- o% Q% D& V2 J$ e7 X• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
' C3 G! R' f% y, t1 b. M0 n& `# ^• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

6 h& @' W$ }5 r' `, DMinimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
$ _& ~- G' X/ W, V2 Y6 H# r• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
/ a2 A$ i, V- tTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
: u2 o2 f$ ]0 Y! U% d: k7 v* ]! C• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

• Good verbal and written communication skills

* Q4 Z1 `4 F7 u5 KSalary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
