The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

( W) C( R. C3 F3 {, HResponsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
6 W( }, S6 ]( H1 R$ B+ B* q• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
/ Q! s3 _6 e% b! ~% k) A• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
' A* A$ O4 w0 O• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
! `( f* w  G8 t1 A7 }) k• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

" K( [1 [0 A; w& x: t. o1 qEducation
; K# x, d* q8 _: s/ ?# F! g• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
6 a% Z; E. f3 ]. T" r8 K3 `/ S• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)

4 C* A" q9 A* F  a! d• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
0 v& ^: W0 @$ u6 B• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
