The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

/ t  e0 K1 e* C7 \$ x4 ~0 M• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
3 f9 {+ S8 E; e' v& S' v* |" T• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
2 g7 C' \$ S, E: D1 o6 h+ s; OEducation
• Completion of a high school diploma
" C+ U! N% n  e2 L• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
( i  Z! O( i% `7 A2 L- n2 dTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
$ U9 @- R% d. F3 Z! b3 f3 D/ P• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
9 G* {4 w1 l( C• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

Skill Sets
2 V9 J% W* ^; E7 v• Good verbal and written communication skills
0 i% C7 [& Z% A% V1 I# _• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
