Role/Function:
# a9 K* ]* v8 ^! b% ?* AThe Customer Service Representative is responsible for responding to client inquiries both in- h7 ]# n, c2 g3 U, o
person and over the telephone while supporting the sales team by building and maintaining5 j: X$ I& Q6 w3 Y2 ]. x
relationships with existing customers. Integrity, vision, professionalism and the passion to meet7 g( T! w2 T6 Z! z. Q' o) b; ~; u
client demands are key components of this position.+ ~' |8 j2 r) C! b
Responsibilities:
2 g) A! \* m* s+ s$ ~- {: A! h· Respond to customer inquiries through inbound calls and busy walk-in traffic;
* f& ]  Q) v, L· Verify pricing and availability of product;
( Y$ ?+ d9 W- K* K! h· Supply and inform clients of pricing, credit terms as well as entering orders in system;4 h* D) h4 d, Q! ?
· Prepare and process invoices in accordance with standard procedure;8 f% _, G5 D. U: X2 V' L; I3 I; S: |
· Collect payments for cash account orders;
9 O' `8 ~& N0 I% x) X" I· Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues;- z  [0 m% ?& R* ~
· Process special materials orders in accordance with standard procedures;6 y# u7 h" J/ u9 ?/ B
· Maintain customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate* e4 c- s7 S$ t# z9 F" q, Z2 b
database;
5 [" V* F' ?  V; O! M3 W, i0 z% Q+ r· Address client inquiries regarding status of orders, payment, refunds, etc;, d' l4 P3 X: g& s
· Forward customer leads to appropriate sales personnel;9 N( R  H. w5 [2 {# K7 E. ]% b$ a
· Actively participate in semi-annual physical inventory count;
4 }7 V- S. x, w- O! Z2 ~Qualifications/Requirements:
( G, {, |4 F* y  h5 O$ _( R1 ~) y· Strong team player with excellent customer service skills and able to build and maintain9 i4 c$ Q) ]0 q! Q  N) p" `5 y; m: r
lasting relationships with customers;8 J4 L0 I; r! w2 I
· 3-5 years experience in a similar role;
5 V8 s* t# ~& d9 i+ v· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;7 r- N& P' K, y- Q$ P$ W
· Strong problem identification and resolution skills;4 L1 ^6 j, [/ B9 T; k! Z
· Computer literate; knowledge of Oracle 12i database (an asset);
+ D! ~" b& s" G. v· Excellent organizational skills;
+ {2 o* h, J1 C! J8 ^· Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment;: o1 f+ z2 I$ \+ B/ W! |
