Position:        Youth Leader
Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)

*might work in other time in some specific days

To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

0 G2 J' T  ?& P0 _9 y Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
6 G: ^$ y+ C; n( M6 m Take attendance if available
 Provide positive modelling to youth
4 J/ ^' n2 \7 m, q7 i( m Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
, f4 d  Q! h% ^* @1 R( c1 ? Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
1 M7 g# d, r1 k4 _8 w/ m Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
, f5 n  u& h2 N+ r9 O4 e2 }- S Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
 Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training

4 \: f+ x2 M1 Z8 _ Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
 Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis

# x2 H$ |! R3 `7 y& K Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
( `! q& a; L3 s Able to work independently with minimum supervision
+ x* B9 b, ]5 G2 f/ i- x8 t0 r Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
" n) t/ p1 f2 j! O5 ^7 n$ r Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
