Position:        Youth Leader
+ A& M! |' N- o' BDuration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
* ^" c- g  n8 Q- B# S3 G/ qCamp 1 – July 04 – July 14
2 Q* z. N9 s/ t9 F9 w: ^Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

. @# }/ C, ^( q3 @- ^7 o4 ODuties:
: l1 C6 X# r; B* S- XTo assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
9 C0 J- I7 A6 c7 } Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
  F- w) i- X: |* ^3 |$ |/ m; n+ ]5 c Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
 Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
% |5 E; l  O: ~/ \1 r5 [7 k, m8 q' J Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
, R8 e% V5 h9 @ Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

/ Z% A/ @1 W0 y# a Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
 Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
 A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
 Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision

 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
5 i' T+ k1 L( Q5 Y- q9 {: g Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
