Position:        Youth Leader
Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
, i" F6 V' \6 NCamp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
% v2 o% y9 f9 F/ |2 h; M5 E*might work in other time in some specific days

; w" C, [/ _% g/ r8 _$ r& X0 Y4 xTo assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
3 `3 l0 M. b, V. j Take attendance if available
 Provide positive modelling to youth
( V" _" c+ {6 R Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
0 L) n& q) f  L% z6 i5 n' l7 K Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
 Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
, X# G# o" n& {: Q% p, h, U/ R Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
2 y! B3 y( L+ q$ B Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
 Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
) [5 U% r! l- C2 i Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
 Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
" h) }; |" a6 S- o A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
 Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
2 G# k' E8 T2 o. w Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
( R/ `/ K$ B6 ?" J8 X2 w Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
