Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
1 c# ?# y9 P0 U  L( ~' L; {Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
/ A1 P0 r# y  s1 Y# p/ o2 M& {$ D& s. p" v*might work in other time in some specific days

5 \/ c& j3 _% d- C. s: TDuties:
To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
( F; ^' Z/ m( x$ J; {  s
% B. Q' E  s+ F Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
: {# I: H& `/ o( j  Z Take attendance if available
 Provide positive modelling to youth
" n+ Q3 x6 w# p9 z: ` Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
2 {6 f$ Q* Q9 e. b1 U) `# p6 K# c Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
" {5 b8 ], X6 ]3 |. E' i" f: E Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
' C8 H+ H0 b9 l2 R6 W Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
5 C, |( }" f2 S  E0 J5 p4 p0 Y Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

Attitude/Skills Requirements

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
 Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
7 ]- r: D5 A" @  a, m$ I; P' E3 T A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
# L* Q: R: Q# j% o) Z) w8 } Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
+ S; n0 I$ q+ X" [ Able to work independently with minimum supervision
4 R5 {- N1 d6 X- z, q Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
2 U  ?! s3 N9 a" f Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
 Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
