Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:/ M5 l4 `4 B( G4 x
- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;
( t& o5 Y+ Z8 z1 f6 ~, y2 M- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter., a- T) y$ }# J9 o# b
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.) l& L- ^* g: V, h4 F0 e5 g9 p
