Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:$ N* J" y% m9 L
- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;
3 E8 ~# c( }, K( d# f( m0 y- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. - Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.
