This is how I view the effects of major road way on the location of newer neighborhoods:

Major roads on 3 sides (and a crappy neighborhood on the 4th)

3) So So:  Magrath etc.
Main entrance on secondary roads (Rabbit Hill)
Major roads on 2 sides

7 A# e+ g5 R7 }' m8 |" C# k4) Good: Upper Windermere, Eagle Ridge
Main entrance on "3rd level" of roads that leads to the river valley and/or golf course.
: s! r. F7 j- ]! zNo Major roads on any side. No crappy neighborhood around. No visible power line.
5 ~  B" Z- ?! K; J4 t* v1 q
9 L( g+ B3 d$ H  v6 L+ g1 Y9 i5) Best: Windermere Ridge
  j( q9 Q0 f9 Y8 ]! X" C1 v" BSame as 4.

+ DC1/DC2 zoning
3 R: d6 v- ]# V+ No condo in view
