 Assist clients with resume and cover letter development, effective job search techniques, interview skills, and accessing the hidden job market after workshop completion.3 S! Y2 T* J0 z3 [# H

 Engage with and build a professional trusting relationship with newcomers, treating them with dignity and in line with the values of the Bredin Institute.- A) k* ?* e5 z, {) l
 Support newcomers participation in the settlement program.

 Accompany newcomers to other agencies and to act as advocate as necessary.

 Keep up-to-date all other administrative tasks as directed by the Program Co-ordinator.

 Attend multi-agency and multidisciplinary meetings, as required

 Responsible for intake, orientation and completion of workability assessments.
( [" g3 k. a7 A7 P Deliver program overview to potential clients, as well as other interested parties.
1 E4 h: _5 D6 C" f' r# \, K# f Screen and assess clients’ skills and abilities through a workability assessment.
8 z/ N- S& U) [ Determination of which stream of services most appropriate for the client.. ^: x, z" t/ a9 A. W
 Provide referral information on other services that may be more suitable for the client.
. ]8 p- i6 Q0 F  P+ q Cooperatively with the client, develop an individualized service plan.

 Interact with participants on a continuous basis so that the Service Plan progress can be monitored throughout the program and into the follow up period

 Ensure that participants have access to the required supports to successfully complete their Service Plan
. Q. f% W& l1 v( C6 L  N, [9 s Assist clients in maintaining a job or in identifying barriers/issues that keep clients from obtaining/maintaining employment
. k2 s. Q1 C" l, j! r5 s Assist clients with obtaining required documentation for working in their profession in Canada$ d1 ^8 e6 g1 u9 J8 b" R
 Develop and maintain knowledge of current programs and services available for participants
! Y& v2 R7 o! ^5 o; [' H4 n Complete participant reviews with the participants
3 o5 @3 [8 o9 E4 [$ {' H2 D Complete 90 and 180 day follow up with client after training completion
! _; @% `; M; Z, g+ T Perform other duties as assigned by manager/coordinator7 A6 \7 U, h- s5 b4 j
