Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Position Summary
2 L. f4 n  C" \: r/ U$ S# vUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
! U- \; O; c# D- Kplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
: q5 m( R; `( Z$ b3 g9 z* _1 M" i$ A( M0 JMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

* O/ r0 c4 F% ^! h6 R, ?To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

; s, f# x$ w* l1 O4 i* m8 t5 LMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
6 P' F1 q8 v2 `+ D  `. d4 aSchool)
Must have supervisory experience
) r. [, I  D& X' b' l' g) A& Y" PMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
Must be computer literate
, S# N8 d: C& R, g4 {Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
5 J4 t( B- ^/ uMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
" l! H4 e- A# k( ?Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
establish team.
