Position Summary
" _# M0 D1 n% t! E6 `Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
* H; O2 { O2 F, f6 y# S) x* Lplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal; L6 j- O4 `. N
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.8 ~3 ]$ f/ c4 v# s0 y" r* l9 v
& d1 Z4 v( U. b3 ?* X' FJob Qualification
; p0 f5 r: P' y+ t1 ^* hMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
2 o) r$ f9 @- F6 o/ h3 B5 LMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
4 Y5 u/ ~5 U% h9 ASchool)
: n2 }$ Q1 x# ~Must have supervisory experience
, B5 D: r9 M8 v+ E2 M7 ^( Z/ b5 UMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system. C/ H$ o( \" N" ]2 W4 @7 F
Must be computer literate! w T; g9 H' ~+ d$ y% ^$ ]
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
9 t4 S$ H! E9 j5 c& pMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network* ^- J3 u5 {, o3 X; p# u
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
6 P ~* a, V: t4 C) P7 L! AMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already( Y7 U- D, [ ~- ]8 Y
establish team.
