CRNE Study Group for Internationally Educated Nurses

Directions for Internationally Educated Health Professionals (IEHPs) is offering a study
group to assist Internationally Educated Nurses in preparing for the Canadian
Registered Nurses Exam (CRNE).

The emphasis is on reviewing materials as outlined in the exam syllabus through a
7 M* G/ s5 b2 l' I& _! {- S, T9 [question and answer format. Participants will become familiar with the learning
, X7 Z- `. m$ F5 F# E7 N1 ymaterial and develop test taking skills. The study group is co-facilitated by a Career
Coach and a professional in the field.

To join the CRNE study group, participants are required to be deemed eligible by
1 c3 F# L) l" Z3 BCollege and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) to write the
7 d0 Z7 J1 y& }) O/ ~( W" E4 POctober 5, 2011 exam. Individuals who are completing required coursework and are
( f! ^; S8 X0 H! aintending to write the CRNE, may be eligible to participate in this study group.
Participants must ensure availability to meet study group attendance requirement.
# Y7 `" y) ]5 e3 G) _9 k# b9 XRegistration for eligible clients is based on a first come first served basis. Since spaces are
limited, early registration is strongly advised.

Important note:
Candidates who live outside of the Calgary area may participate in the study group through
teleconferencing.
