Help: Buying a car with title "leased vehicle"

Hi,

  I am going to buy a car, but when I am going to pay today. I notice that the title on the registration is " leased vehicle". Then I asked the seller and he told me he has paid off the lease, but he has not updated the info with the registry. I have not paid him yet. So I just wonder if
' V& w0 S, J5 a0 Q9 y& xhe needs to update the title with the registry first before I buy it?

  L6 b, x! H- u; h- Y5 Bhe just needs to provide me the document showing he has paid off the lease (from the dealer or the bank). Then I go to register the new car with all those information.
