; N- [3 d" s, u. M& p Proactively and independently develop initiatives in ethno-cultural communities that

 Develop initiatives that convene stakeholders, community organizations, government agencies and foster collaborations between immigrant and main-stream stakeholders.
) A8 W& a; j" \" ` Proactively assist immigrant communities with: identifying needs, training, strategic planning, board development, project development, community economic development, funding proposal writing, program planning and implementation
, I/ G8 y `& I8 i Develop Community Economic Development initiatives and provide small business coaching to groups and individuals

 Demonstrated ability to independently develop community initiatives / a4 `; D! U$ M
 Community development and CED background and experience
# p2 n6 `9 @' }1 _0 S/ o% A Strong group facilitation skills / l3 _8 {. p/ x7 a7 q! A
 Experience supervising staff% c. C: Q* E) J n
 Understanding of cross-cultural issues
. V2 o, G. M7 C& Q( K! x Excellent written and oral communication skills, including proposal writing skills
% y5 T4 j2 p. ]/ F2 f' H: R K Strong organizational and Program delivery skills
T( y, {4 n$ _' B- g# x- @- @. n7 K( w# X, w2 u
Education/technical skills " ~) [6 R+ C7 l# R8 u
5 Q5 f/ r3 j8 d7 d Post-secondary education- O$ c9 d$ ^8 u4 o3 l: W
 Experience/facility with Windows-based computer systems (specifically Windows 95/98/2000, MS Office, MS Word, databases, spreadsheets etc.)
