Duties
, F" h8 }" `1 Z. D3 ?) UDelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items6 ~' |0 N. K5 \! p, I
Obtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
/ i" p8 v4 a( e6 A3 Z2 L, r1 qEnsures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
5 l9 b+ Z/ h+ O8 x) vPrioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
8 W- g" e- m8 e( JOperates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions1 ?# @! F( j1 Z5 f8 |9 U6 G# c

Qualifications
Z/ _ e z7 r0 z; I5 @1 AValid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years." `. x/ s6 e! G: [4 P0 q
High School diploma; previous driving experience required
; M! G& e! ^! m2 H/ ~0 [Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification
