/ n/ p: A& p. m7 M  Duties
Delivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
, [4 s9 \$ O5 _' o: k' xObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
  o$ j# a9 Z# ], }Ensures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
! }. ]3 [# S  h2 j# X5 U5 hPrioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
Operates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions
Performs related duties as required
Qualifications
Valid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.

Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification
  V& p* d* h* I, m( q; @Training related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
Ability to operate equipment including forklift, power-jack, pallet-jack, Johnson bar
Forklift operating certificate
