Duties
- p# }' k0 V8 F3 W/ J. ]Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation); D1 H( ~$ ?8 o. X4 E2 p
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required6 C0 ?: _. ]/ y. V8 p/ ?9 a2 u2 w
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed
& C9 h! E) o$ w: a+ E) TPerforms related tasks as needed

Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred% o" h3 O6 w& t
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred4 A# a A5 A# k7 H x3 Z
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset: n* s4 t, G/ {: M ?' q% V: A
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred* U2 _* H$ V& G7 A+ S/ C' P
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit0 d! G3 n3 y. T6 c
Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages. E8 y* H" s1 v1 D
