Duties
; P# S2 b4 ?5 n# h" F; TAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)$ N8 Y! U6 `: v) k( q& d+ |8 m, T
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required* u& v9 n! {5 s k$ g
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed5 ~# }/ s# s# X
Performs related tasks as needed

4 X! K8 L. V% i5 x; \! |Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
: u% ~+ |+ V J8 F/ k MDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
z+ l1 e- L3 z: J, iSolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset* r1 ^+ }7 d, k1 t6 h
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred, M, [5 P, `# c$ s
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
