移民签证时护照的有效期限

申请技术移民，今年7月初在edmonton体检，一直在等待。

8 N1 y. m) P1 q* m1 _5 Q请问如果近期收到passport request，寄去做移民签证的话，是否护照有效期必须是6个月以上呢？

应该不用的吧，没有哪个地方说护照有效期要有6个月的。
这个是具体要求：

Passport Requirements:

( L- _( o/ E: _! W% ~We require an original VALID passport for yourself and every accompanying family
) L" y$ {; s& @; kmember. Passports for you and all accompanying family members should be submitted
& c, h/ @. U+ g3 J& vtogether.

There must be at least two blank visa pages in each passport.

If there are children included in your passport there must be visa pages for them as well.
