■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.+ o2 t! q. j- ~2 O
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.5 H, j9 {( Z' M9 ~) ]+ a/ {) C
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships+ H. a$ z! b& U+ s' @
Experience and Education:3 z! p T, m7 D, C `$ ^- F
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.' H; o+ X8 k, E3 b9 g7 G9 |1 z' Q
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
% P3 H/ g- C4 I# h3 z/ n■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
9 j) G: z5 T# X■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;! Y$ Z/ c9 ~1 v; O3 P# O' G
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;" u, h! U. j: O$ o7 v
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
) |* R6 N& O7 q9 p■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
