Responsibilities
- B" z/ y, X# m" Y- q- B& w7 @8 k■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.: h7 r, E! F" v( U
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.! [# v; j8 Z/ [9 W0 \: p$ K
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
& v9 f+ e( S! z, i G6 n4 @" NExperience and Education:7 c7 O- p( j6 L8 X. X1 M+ t4 U. T6 {5 ?
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
5 u+ K8 ^3 z" {& g1 v5 h3 ]; ]6 h■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
# G8 K+ t4 s! D■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.( k% W+ T3 Y+ x3 W" F
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
+ ?! x0 W1 D! V0 b, r: k/ P■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
R0 x3 a8 H! e0 Z4 Z4 b" T5 n■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
. N! G: G8 q9 y- K5 ^( u4 W! \# e■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
