a( `: h& n; e7 E4 I Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.7 j( _ W2 r5 ?
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.3 H4 W- |0 G8 O: M3 J
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
/ r9 ~3 q" H+ f | Completing required paperwork.
- m' n( n+ {4 M. I Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops., t7 E& ]- u2 W7 O
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.& h0 f+ _# _& m" ]# h4 A
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. 5 A, l0 C: Z. f2 Z% D0 P& c' L
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner. \/ w' [5 M" j! A7 c
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
, f( \( B/ Y& H. d Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
# v: N, Y9 y3 l8 G Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
9 l& M( B. ]- x3 P3 h5 I Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.; |1 {1 Z0 P. f- M
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
. e8 T3 z' {# T" |6 n Knowledge of community resources.
0 n/ _8 X% R/ m# { Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
/ a; t- a2 l# n5 n5 @& m+ [; J Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.
6 @8 y O# U$ b+ K; k3 H5 `2 W" A3 c4 D( k2 `& u. g& r6 q
Position:- V% j2 j/ ] n3 K: O
This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
1 A) w9 @$ j# M: aThere is a 3-month probationary period.
