# k. V( X8 x4 L& z3 G7 E% |% e Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
) f4 ~7 t/ T" N Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
& r+ b3 X! _% W4 u/ G; Q/ A Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
; e9 [3 |) ]5 t0 @# w: w4 S8 a2 f Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
" I) }; Y- U; q+ |2 c& K Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
: V0 {+ I9 _6 V Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
( G4 L; c- R: f* {- {! P: C Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
* y. {$ q( }( N$ Z( C* r0 ]3 } Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
# {/ x1 c- h$ H Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

9 u* N% P( C' I" [
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
& i4 e- ?$ P6 l Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
5 H8 r! U% J8 E. T4 J+ E& I Knowledge of community resources.
9 \3 m9 f( ]( h+ {! `$ v Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
6 r! i6 L% X! v Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
There is a 3-month probationary period.
