, t( x- q; P o Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.- V1 q8 d& _$ u5 n9 [
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
' E& O d+ g0 H2 c( F Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.

H2 n; X( H- N2 G Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.

 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.

1 m" n* W, U9 f' d5 u! C! m Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
5 S4 Q4 B; H2 I. o Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
! H0 W3 ?9 [- g4 }) J+ H Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
* W. w1 p) K" a& L) x' A; z* H/ M) D Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.3 \$ r, j8 @4 C/ n, ` H
 Knowledge of community resources.( u! N. G# i+ h( A
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.% M- s7 X- M8 ]) Z$ w
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
& }3 ^- c! \$ P1 @& ~( _+ |! ?' g' sThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
