The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals.  The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

6 v4 I% E! m8 m8 ?, lThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday.  The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.9 }4 A. g" C. B# i

Job Responsibilities:/ r. R  b, V6 z0 y$ d

Reception:
) u, g! b! p. V) e# N1 N•        Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as         required
1 r5 M" l0 S% r& C•        Answer multi line telephone system6 s8 v- l! _% l/ j0 }

/ Q" W  \. \/ z5 w  O. E/ dAdministration:, |, K! ^" ~# ^/ j4 ]* P6 q1 J
•        Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads! w( b  d) p0 z  z
•        File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits% `) B+ r" j/ x; k, B* h
•        Input and manage high volume of data: |4 ?% A! w9 l5 t/ \
•        Update and maintain databases
5 I1 p% s+ Z  P3 U* L•        Generate monthly reports and statistics
) [$ U' w9 f! h- b; C•        Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
( U* Z* I5 i8 S! G" t9 W•        Process payments and complete weekly deposits
$ A6 K, P- v9 \% ]4 T•        Write and revise business correspondence and forms9 \6 t$ R9 O  [9 g* X
•        Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail         outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
0 s* t! a6 U, ~3 B( }•        Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre+ Y/ X0 V; C! Z4 J! Q1 G! l
•        Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

2 K% m1 L0 N7 l) lQualifications:/ k2 B5 r; a: D+ O5 F$ g) v% G- W

! c+ f- ^+ B& Q% L+ K" Q( b•        Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
+ n$ {$ S: Q0 C& x: t  L•        Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
$ h+ \$ K* S1 B•        Excellent verbal and written communication skills& H/ _  }: |8 k, H8 ^/ J. g- P5 S
•        Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work: w6 C# T: Z) [0 [& j/ @( {# H
•        Able to interact positively with a diverse population
% k; H2 f+ M" U# a0 T. _, T9 b0 Q' m•        Strong customer service skills5 T0 I8 p; S4 v) z. T; k1 @7 E
•        Strong organizational skills and abilities
5 y7 ?: Q7 w  V$ J% `•        Knowledge of HOMES database an asset, h, U# S( a. Z3 P' [, g
