The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.6 \8 x$ z) W# e8 J6 M! B8 D

Job Responsibilities:

1 e7 z: r' ?; N• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required, C4 C! k6 Y: }4 N5 {
• Answer multi line telephone system

* X+ o1 a6 o0 z# p7 x+ L" a" wAdministration:
4 p9 y; G2 @) \• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
/ [0 b7 k- t, E. r8 K% q• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits3 _. s' y- d$ S
• Input and manage high volume of data
2 e4 W. N0 J1 p! J) U' U! `• Update and maintain databases, t- y; U; H5 H4 k
• Generate monthly reports and statistics
8 ~# |! l2 y# ~! L, b" @, i• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation; X3 u; V) a8 c2 L
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits# D. j4 B& ?8 y+ j9 L' }5 m
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
( m6 [3 o+ j0 F; T, D• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors# }0 Z( [7 Z' f: p0 h: `/ K
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre3 }' q4 a% z @
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:
9 i# l$ t# B! o' w! Y
; M3 z$ K7 ^! G# O: R% ^• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure& Q7 n5 v- n& u
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS 3 A4 C2 D5 ]* U& {4 p: p
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
8 R) j1 N5 \2 |# D% p• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work+ L9 c* t! n! ^$ `# a: x' b# [( d
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
