The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. 0 }9 S, |1 ?/ B0 A6 i" J

Job Responsibilities:

Reception:4 F1 \3 W' |* O( K, a
• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
6 t( `. D; e4 w* _1 q! q" s4 R$ U/ V• Answer multi line telephone system

7 f X2 D; m+ g3 A1 V# I$ O+ EAdministration:
" B1 V/ o+ B0 i. w6 c3 ]• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
! p) r$ a; T: f7 m• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
0 Z! e* E$ [9 d/ k9 u" P8 u! ^9 A• Input and manage high volume of data
1 l; ]' {: J* A% X% ?• Update and maintain databases
+ D. z9 f/ W4 i8 }$ C2 L& {/ Y• Generate monthly reports and statistics
$ @- w$ [: E# f* W, }# |2 H• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
( R6 v5 o* E0 j9 X5 N/ O• Process payments and complete weekly deposits

• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors# l, g' Y: h; D0 s1 r
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre/ ]8 |' ?% @# f6 r+ S
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:

4 r s/ |9 _, v! k& m/ T( E- J, u4 W• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
+ ~, [* r6 d5 A• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
9 i( m% S4 F' S• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ]7 Z. p& O5 V$ b- N
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
- J8 _" r. q h8 G• Able to interact positively with a diverse population- ^0 K% ?0 `) {
• Strong customer service skills
