The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. , m$ ~/ ~/ D3 {
4 {6 J/ j8 c/ `1 u+ BThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.7 y+ Y9 F4 Q7 `+ @/ h

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required* o* J% g$ s$ t9 A1 m- q7 \& g
• Answer multi line telephone system0 n: V- d+ C6 v2 q

Administration:
# k6 F4 C" u" y; u6 ^• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
! F! N! B3 h: T L4 ^# V2 _• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
) Z" W% H; r0 C. x• Input and manage high volume of data
' E7 A# e3 t/ B& z• Update and maintain databases( T3 C% r; J* Z9 W1 f, n# L+ ^
• Generate monthly reports and statistics) u0 k$ m O4 l1 J
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
; I3 [6 A7 Q, k8 g' v+ g• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
" V' k+ s& S4 \" M( @• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
* ?$ s3 G( y, X {( R* K7 ]• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
7 v% [9 N2 \0 @& L5 F1 T2 a7 \; H, \* t• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
' f Z2 ~6 t' }8 p$ A• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

! k3 b" c& g# c. w0 f* a& y! M' x# K
• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure5 E1 G' `* W, @& M& h. x) K
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
9 O7 `# ?9 X. r: s) ?• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
$ W5 Q+ `& x" Q& k' w! T• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work; b" x& p5 G/ p4 h
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
