Youth Empowered to Succeed Project

- i$ G2 f0 ~# ~; @. E( y! ITagbaema Society is a non-profit organization that provides a wide range of outreach
services to families and technical assistance to ethno-cultural organizations in managing
their development.
: o' c8 n, ~9 h; Q' o+ G* D
: p; ~: h) X- tTagbaema is looking for two young and energetic individuals who would like to get first
hand experience, assisting with the development and implementation of the Youth
Empowered to Succeed: A Push for Better Future Project. Your role will be to establish a
youth steering committee and coordinate its activities. You will also be directly involved
1 ~* h& Q, O( Lin the implementation of the project and will work on our productions and activities. You
are expected to perform some administrative tasks including marketing upcoming events,
7 s- G2 c% M! x9 Y# a1 r) o) L2 `balancing budgets and making arrangements for future events. You will report and be
$ c- a8 c) _; D# Z0 B  V& S( d9 V- Taccountable to the project coordinator.
+ O% p/ G$ L" D* Z& E
( L; r8 d+ e: x* s; n* \8 G5 ^The youth leaders will be needed about 18 hours a week, with hours flexible to own
) k$ K4 s5 A3 O/ M3 l( j- ]schedule but will include some evenings and weekends. A commitment of 1 full year is
desirable.

18 – 21 years old with good personal and teamwork skills  
Keen ability to organize and lead
+ Q- B1 b; N7 I. nRegular attendance at meetings  
; }+ j/ `; ?: X/ ]6 {1 P9 TRelate well with other youth and adults
Willing to be mentored and trained

! _4 i+ g, D2 L& I; S0 }Salary  
( k8 E6 J: v" E4 L( r+ @. P$15 per hour plus benefits
