} S a! [4 \5 j! P• Process research equipment design;
5 \ D& w. n$ S9 B• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;$ B( i. T5 n' J5 ~
• Equipment fabrication guidance;
0 H; o& K0 b8 ?8 d• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
# Z( f! t. w4 H1 F' C! M8 R4 d; M! |• Others.

Qualifications:4 G; i D; V1 \9 L- c( t8 D
• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
1 H& O$ c$ o) c8 t, R9 ]• Equipment design experience is required;; h' Z# }8 P1 h9 e: p
• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
# b2 ?3 W1 R* [& N; W9 H• Familiar with CAD software;4 f- \- _8 k! M, o. W) L1 x
• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;, [, F. s* q% u2 x9 G+ G
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.! ~ [! A( o' P) f f! n- ?$ D* V

Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term. % I3 q& [% i' _9 D' E
