Major Responsibilities:
- z# O) m* A% W- i•        Process research equipment design;
•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
, s) d) w# L$ A! P7 s2 \# k! I$ `•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
•        Others.

' M% M# s3 Z  gQualifications:
0 O: R. k4 h3 E: K9 v•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
•        Equipment design experience is required;
•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
•        Familiar with CAD software;
# S2 B2 ]! [4 s3 ~2 k5 B$ L7 k, a•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
$ v. X5 D. c( _•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

+ t, N5 f' \5 k$ i0 lCompensation:
Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
