Major Responsibilities:
( z: U( Y$ W; h  ]•        Process research equipment design;
; n$ [' {8 J' }+ Y3 M, o•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
9 E+ K$ _! a% K' A•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
; v, u+ S" o& @•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
* Q3 p8 I/ f0 B•        Others.

Qualifications:
. j: W, P, y) e8 o•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
3 M2 A7 U$ L+ m  `•        Equipment design experience is required;
•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
•        Familiar with CAD software;
•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
+ S1 E  ?$ \$ D3 s) u•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Compensation:
Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
