7 @8 a0 b0 d0 |) eKey Responsibilities & Duties:

 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
& g; W; q* ^9 g2 V8 H; j+ a Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
3 M9 @, I6 a: p( ~9 w# o. J Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
. r3 G  N8 b, T9 v Completing required paperwork.
& R2 [( E- b& j6 M2 m$ q Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

( T9 T3 l& T3 z$ T$ ]8 s+ S
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
5 t' i3 ?& D+ k, t6 {7 [" G Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
; ?4 {' \" M0 I Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
, Z( `3 l! Y& v3 g Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
7 [* I7 y4 ^5 \/ P& |starting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
