8 [& s/ H6 x6 B# \ Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
, U/ H( |) ]7 ^* f Completing required paperwork.
7 O- e. M. z7 s, X" O% [6 t7 G0 e Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
' I7 g4 W: A) p' R9 h Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
6 P( X4 X0 i  a" j8 F8 Z Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
7 F- B2 n0 I# l/ H Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
  A; [+ z1 G. {4 ?$ q5 W Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

5 R# N9 h9 U+ W3 s3 S  J1 d# y Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
, X1 ]  k& @8 I Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
- l+ l) x, Y& s6 Y Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
# A1 I  W2 S7 o4 @5 F4 y( ^This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
starting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
