Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
# \3 S+ u: I5 P4 d  N! Y! SManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
2 |3 C0 u. c' W. t! F+ r$ W* Yment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
- b- [3 M2 i2 v' Mthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
1 p3 A+ s2 C" i3 U; D$ H- U5 Q; _support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
2 _# V* y; v, h3 {" }( X2 z3 Dimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
) i6 e; Y7 s5 m( F& C; ^% p6 YŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
$ K; p( }! o. K! \$ e% N" q2 C. O* uŸ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
+ a6 r+ _  W$ t8 O1 X, ~Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
9 O9 m5 f2 ~( _- z+ JŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
" i0 v/ Z$ s) C6 x0 x) |+ ]0 Uverbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
5 ~7 `- p9 R9 `4 a$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
/ G) u5 t, G3 s9 [) vIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
