Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
! ~5 d# a' I7 w7 s2 sManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
7 ^" b( r& F6 wment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
' w! F- U3 V. f' B8 K  _2 a1 ]The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
( i/ e# {4 s$ DŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
" \- Y) k+ \1 E5 ^Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
7 }4 j. _, r: h( c# _Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
9 p- z% r# R0 ]  Psupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
  I3 G2 \9 m% V% g/ limplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
& T6 m# O; P! Q- A+ Z( k7 y: }Ÿ Other duties as required.
/ T0 {9 h4 G$ {! n5 u2 F- `Qualifications:
4 H  y5 q! `( Q$ V5 nŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
8 b6 s) j0 Q) S" O9 WŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
4 |0 O/ O. }$ t  D, R3 L, w* YŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
  z7 Z$ L# {# u9 o4 @$ @Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
' V' [/ a" c7 tverbal and written.
4 V: B8 `% B' b4 F/ G7 l1 vLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
