Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
" y: y& y, g2 Vment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.% E' C/ f! X( n3 P3 [1 i. \
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
0 u" ] R3 v! M2 YŸ Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into $ W7 A) B) r6 o) s% r
the organization;' j) H# O& F1 d: I6 b! u1 n- m
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
* E6 [7 z2 B4 A* C3 M/ SŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical ) l9 V) V/ P9 G" f
support; Z$ Q* R3 c% N8 h2 o: ?7 A1 f
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
- f y5 g, \# X& H* [" dimplementing staff wellness programs;5 q8 \5 s/ t9 Q8 H$ f2 w0 c
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
- E* E" B/ D# O) D* XŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
5 E5 M' {* J7 TŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;

% H* L* z: D2 o0 o( }Qualifications:7 ]5 ?& z- {% W& j
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
q5 v& P5 q9 _0 h \education and experience;
1 p% |+ _; Y1 NŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;4 ]9 p" f% J. @$ D# O6 @; {( V
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;" u' l# f! {& r5 ]) w) O8 F. a) y
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both + A: @" G/ ?' l. @: P
verbal and written.
5 Y H# E& B! {& [Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package. Salary Range ( [- ]' m3 C! j4 u2 N* [, u
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
