Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
) l/ s( j1 j) [! Q: L) l; J# JManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
* I1 P. r9 q% L; Z: Q( gment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
6 w: o# y, g8 yThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
1 q3 E$ |' W, U5 h& P, E; \2 s" Ithe organization;
1 R1 O# F8 O0 {0 M2 W1 n, h: ]Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
1 c8 N1 p4 G# \1 ~( x- g7 ]# jsupport;
8 e  m0 ^  r: \1 w8 C0 LŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
; ^( d' l, M- n& a+ OŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
. Q7 U* e& s: {$ gŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
1 C1 n9 S, t2 M/ PŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
! f6 _! D8 G7 l3 P1 f5 [/ {. e% gQualifications:
2 y. u& Y, Z, ^$ t/ n* s* C4 CŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
2 Q" I- D' W7 m# Z, Beducation and experience;
  R1 l! s+ N5 D) lŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
# M3 `1 v. j0 i. N* W1 d8 a2 d# R: pŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
# l$ J) {3 j6 P6 \4 j7 uverbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
( b7 P! Z2 C5 P% M; [! m' V+ Ysuccessful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
