Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
7 ^7 a- C5 H6 u6 L" eManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
: t% b; ?% `% B6 y2 e, v3 zThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
, P3 G" U0 [+ d! ~1 Q& ?Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
$ W- U+ Y$ z7 b% `& SŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
! `1 E% ^! s. Vsupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
, T# e  M. D2 F) W( s' uimplementing staff wellness programs;
- x* q1 v* h* Y6 k/ y% f  jŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
4 \' w& \! N! OŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
/ C' ^( `# w5 B' l. h& K# [Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
$ g6 y, I5 ~: eŸ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
* h6 b) T% h6 B/ B3 i1 Teducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
: p5 X% B, m# K* o( J0 [Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
: b9 I/ g8 a9 yŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
+ o+ u8 E6 o% }- `Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
