Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
+ Y* S, @7 g* }support;
+ z- j5 x* s, Z3 B7 z5 ]  tŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
4 Z& k1 T) Y8 O5 H8 }. Ximplementing staff wellness programs;
/ O! E, d) T& a' eŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
& M- M/ E, e" u: P) d4 j3 NŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
) s) H1 h5 |; @  w9 x6 X5 }1 p) ^  zŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
' k$ d+ n% b* U# OŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
6 T  d( q) i, uŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
, Z& C6 I9 ?( H0 v" yverbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
