Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-' I' V# W$ O6 ?/ o6 S
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution./ Q6 [4 c! I7 Z& i
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:0 b: i9 d& X% ^+ E" w; u
Ÿ Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into

Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
) Y/ I6 i: }" e9 y- K9 {Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
( V) R' i+ v/ h1 R; ]) B4 f* esupport;8 ], [+ c/ P v m' N
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and 4 L7 f' t! V; U Y2 x* T. ?
implementing staff wellness programs;" W, R# ?) V4 ~1 r" h9 p' T
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;0 n; B5 F9 f/ H9 ]% n1 M
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
8 Z/ O" D; Y! [9 HŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;) ?8 K" t) g+ K, Q7 R7 h; @7 S
Ÿ Other duties as required.
% x- P2 U) a2 D* EQualifications:/ k5 N" ]4 W! x' S+ j/ Q( d, M
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
4 _; c4 S) Y+ b0 f! q! Geducation and experience;; I5 L6 N# C) A% C
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
4 Q5 ]6 F. r0 j7 ], R# zŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
t8 U' q0 }# u+ B" T- P( h u7 @Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
6 @8 O2 }( g$ cverbal and written.& ]1 a5 m9 W- J8 y
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package. Salary Range
/ A. U( P$ }$ f" Z( O' }$71,690.77 - $88,789.06. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
