( H! p+ J. ^# [, b  B9 |. [! v' z9 ~Our Employment/Career Counselors provide professional support and assistance to our customers as they work towards meeting their employment needs. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
( T! L; m8 I  SPost-Secondary education in career development, human resources or related fields
Understanding of, and demonstrated application of, the employment/Career counselling/coaching role
Experience working with clients experiencing difficulty securing employment and a commitment to motivate and encourage such participants
) |  X7 r! Z  D# B* YExcellent communication and negotiation skills
Experience in providing information in a group session and/or individually for one to one appointments
( m8 n. R* j6 }* a  HCurrent knowledge of greater Edmonton labour market
