我在国内上大学、研究生学的是化工机械专业，毕业了在中石化的一家炼油厂做了7年检维修，之后到上海做了2年。来加拿大一年半了，现在在一家铝焊丝生产厂做机器操作工。很想找回自己原来的行当，做项目工程师。Fort Mcmurray有很好的机会，怎么才能够找到一份入行的工作呐？

( i( V. n9 H2 i" h我电话面试的OPTI Canada，还没有消息。原来说的是2周内会告诉结果。到2005年11月24日就是两周。电话面试完了，我写了Thank-you letter的E-mail跟进，结果还在等待中。

" E; x- H' l6 E$ j另外就是有中介的一个机会，需要明天先打电话联系。

Yesterday I sent out an application to ATS Reliance for a Mechanical Project Engineer in Voncouver.

& e" W! R; d2 K& pReading a book Winning Cover Letter reminds me that a good cover letter is as important or more important than the resume.

A long way to go to get a dreaming job. Will stick to it.

2004年6月9日来加拿大。

在多伦多downtown住过9个月的地下室。

在Mississauga找到上一份工作后，搬到Mississauga。一家人和别人分租公寓，一年多。

+ I2 {% T/ s2 h6 g4 x, K/ n, L现在是自己一家人住着这个2室一厅的Apartment。是我从出生以来，所住过的最好的房子。哈哈，我在中国混得也不怎么样。

上一周刚买了一辆Toyota Echo，2000年的，20.4万公里。上任车主每天开高速往返Burlington与Mississauga。我们是第二个车主。买车都是太太在张罗，太太的功劳。

/ v$ X& U9 W( u0 t' F- Y5 d晚上聊起来，意外地发现，买车的日子刚好是我们来加拿大2周年的日子。

8 B6 W: z7 Y# ]6 {7 s想起几天前在网上看到该不该来加拿大的讨论，我觉得移民加拿大是一个过程，先苦后甜。性格决定命运，不管收入多少，喜欢先苦后甜的过程，就应该来加拿大。

谢谢版主一直以来的支持和鼓励。我不会轻言放弃，打好基础，最终一定会建起高屋大厦。
