She works through the collection, holding up a brightly patterned Christian Louboutin or shoe every so often for a second opinion from her father.

A dubious look from her father puts her back on track. "But it's not us," she agrees.
! T2 F4 k- V: k1 O; t) a0 ?- j They also agree that shoes and heels will be bought in matching pairs, another strong ladylike trend.

"This isn't shopping, it's business," she says. "They're make-and-break decisions."
