"Do you like that?" she asks as she holds up the hottest shape in louboutin this season, the bowling shoe in purple and violet sunray stripes. It gets the nod.
. @7 C! w' f# A9 N; D She holds up a designer credit-card holder for inspection. "I think that's so cute," she says.
A dubious look from her father puts her back on track. "But it's not us," she agrees.
# |: o/ s2 O% u4 o# Q They also agree that shoes and heels will be bought in matching pairs, another strong ladylike trend.
/ z2 _: X' }* K) t Although many may envy her job travelling to the world's fashion capitals to buy the most cutting-edge collec-tions, she is quick to explain that this is no shopping expedition.
"This isn't shopping, it's business," she says. "They're make-and-break decisions."
