SALES CLERKS
' Y' \. c. h/ q( R$ CJob Purpose
/ a4 i; T7 s  P. fEvery full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
+ B0 e( R6 i6 E6 |, @( ythat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
# R6 P$ w- d; Uthe Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
5 {3 }% X  k. W4 \Customer Service
- H6 h- n: h6 Z& z+ c' x+ H2 p4 k8 N9 F• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
5 k/ l8 i( ~2 [  J• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age

• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
' l$ m4 M- u; G( p1 C# j" Y* s• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
# W* J: {+ M: P5 M• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
: a" `0 y( q, \: h0 E; K• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
) f. [: O. h7 W1 }• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
' A+ h' ~2 G( n; rQualifications
• High School graduate
# I6 f2 {8 C1 F, E* b• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
; q+ X7 J; @5 q3 z3 i- @• Good problem solving skills
# u# j" J$ N, V• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies

Physical Requirements
0 R! z7 Y! P' i# q2 `• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
( W6 l8 S9 f7 a, v( B0 W. l9 `% F• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
