SALES CLERKS
& g! u3 Q# _; M9 ~7 O  n- OJob Purpose
Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
- j- d* |3 p# d1 ^4 R* s; K7 Xoperation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
6 S3 L; v7 o" C9 l3 fcustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
0 d) x) G- j1 S: vthe Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
. Q- q; W9 Q; f5 H( h) Z• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
# s; {! H) k) ]* t• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
* \& E( q5 ^; qstock
: [4 ~$ @: o1 W  ?• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
/ {: I& _3 D3 N$ {Store Responsibilities
& D! D# G- M1 W2 c" u6 c; D• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
+ D- f8 I5 M6 h• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
* [) ^' d" k- [7 A: c2 j• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
" ]; Y1 M; B9 ?$ R# j• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

• High School graduate
6 M  d" l2 I# x- X• Criminal record check.
, Q& T6 L0 ~. S5 \; o' t• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
9 P- ?& a3 k0 R. F• Good problem solving skills
* v7 J' v5 v5 I5 q* ^• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies

• Demanding workload
Physical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
; c: o; \+ e5 q2 v9 A* o5 T. @( X• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
& H, M7 h; a# ?3 V• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
