6 W# H: Y1 L* e4 x2 F2 h Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.

% m  {+ A8 C! h0 D5 h Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

" W& {/ v, n/ c" B9 |  hWork closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

7 H( J8 L. E) P, oOngoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

Liaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

9 y/ c2 n& E1 CWorking closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

' {7 C- O- \: }Work closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
4 B$ z( y$ n" K+ W2 ~. W/ PManage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

2 c6 h5 I+ P. J6 n3 C, J2 a0 K8 eProvide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

Specific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

! h( h, j0 H! _/ \6 C' A Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.
+ _7 Z' f$ I/ A9 V, y' O! S
10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;
4 e4 t8 i& y; t8 H4 {$ N
Gas industry experience preferred;

2 o0 v, \/ x9 D. f  TExtensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

; V4 W" c" M; |& N3 {3 DExperience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;

; o4 h, v* ^7 ]( f' aStrong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;
