! Z# D. q# S' F8 y$ C; [Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
# P2 ~5 `" z/ r) F7 \        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
) p' v) p  ]( K; C! P# O        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
" O3 x  H! F. v/ k' v' T- a" ~4 s        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients
+ X3 X  A2 ^' _2 M$ K) n
" M8 v) B+ m7 sQUALIFICATIONS:
9 C, H8 e! {0 j9 N# q0 n•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
6 Y! E- o6 F- g1 \* O0 V•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
2 v. P& J' j" q# s! V7 ?•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
2 r) O$ x4 w6 ~6 a•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
