MECHANICAL DESIGNER(HVAC)

Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
0 P) {& T' [6 U/ z1 ^        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
8 X) [' x2 h) j8 R3 c•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
5 Y1 g; Z) z7 l* C•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
2 o. r- n; S# p! W+ }4 A2 U% p0 [•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
