  H8 U+ f/ O' j& c! P' UReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
& v  i, Z- P7 d. l6 ~: b7 l        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
- H( V! j7 M4 O1 R•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
5 d# C8 D4 ^3 m) D; c$ r' n•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
  h6 z1 h8 t* ~•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
# ~  w6 j5 F/ }; ?) Y9 P4 o•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
4 s# D! A3 C6 g/ i•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
