Primary Focus 8 T+ j' ~. y; `' q# P0 @9 N7 e
The Pipeline Integrity department is looking for a Senior Engineer to provide engineering analysis and expertise to support crack and mechanical damage mitigation programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of programs, with a strong focus on inline inspection programs that identify, monitor, and mitigate these pipeline threats. 3 k+ K) k) o. ^, z, z$ t

The primary responsibilities are to:

-Develop of crack and mechanical damage mitigation programs, including selection of features, development of associated trending, and determination of reinspection intervals. 1 p% g1 b; O3 a: G$ b2 D* G; ^
- K0 O* \' z, ~1 b* ~ o
-Provide technical expertise related to fitness for purpose calculations and field NDE as related to crack and mechanical damage threats. ' ?" E9 V, `6 u+ X
/ I8 \4 g5 h) s) p, g6 `+ bServe as an internal technical expert on fitness for purpose assessments. 1 h7 G- Z. U0 S; d

Ensure that all standards and procedures related to crack management programs and mechanical damage programs are up to date and available to all users. ' _) A3 L' P+ o

Maintain leading edge expertise related to pipeline crack threat through ongoing review of industry publications, attending appropriate training and industry conferences. : F2 c; l" k5 t8 @6 u
Qualifications
6 i! `/ q3 t, x Bachelors degree in Engineering and at least 8 years of related experience. Or a masters degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience. 2 P4 w) t" b9 a# |- u; i, j* r
2 |5 n1 H5 u% {, ~1 o2 V
Requires exceptional communication and report writing skills. 4 T( }1 P7 S% n5 Z2 G# t
8 v @- O5 Z. S* VSelf-motivated, independent, innovative, responsible and a team player. 4 _: e5 n. v/ S! P0 [8 G0 `! u
& @8 r- u; t5 ^1 b4 ^! U
Excellent functional knowledge of computer applications applicable to the Pipeline Industry.

Project management experience and the ability to work within a large organization.

A broad based, solid understanding of the business of pipelines is important.
