The Pipeline Integrity department is looking for a Senior Engineer to provide engineering analysis and expertise to support crack and mechanical damage mitigation programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of programs, with a strong focus on inline inspection programs that identify, monitor, and mitigate these pipeline threats.  
Responsibilities  
The primary responsibilities are to:

  Y" ?8 @& E9 W-Develop of crack and mechanical damage mitigation programs, including selection of features, development of associated trending, and determination of reinspection intervals.

8 C0 M/ ]' p* k+ C& k-Provide technical expertise related to fitness for purpose calculations and field NDE as related to crack and mechanical damage threats.

6 Y, l8 m( ?0 D7 L/ z" R, NServe as an internal technical expert on fitness for purpose assessments.

7 h$ C) V% Z# |1 w! i" hEnsure that all standards and procedures related to crack management programs and mechanical damage programs are up to date and available to all users.

! @; P9 F! K; `" U7 A% dMaintain leading edge expertise related to pipeline crack threat through ongoing review of industry publications, attending appropriate training and industry conferences.

9 f3 ~0 A, p) O, ~2 S; \$ \ Bachelors degree in Engineering and at least 8 years of related experience. Or a masters degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience.

Requires exceptional communication and report writing skills.

6 @9 r! n9 ~' s" a2 t( jSelf-motivated, independent, innovative, responsible and a team player.

- \: `5 P3 n9 g- l2 s& p5 vExcellent functional knowledge of computer applications applicable to the Pipeline Industry.

- m% e- r, i; E& PProject management experience and the ability to work within a large organization.

$ ?6 _. p1 @; B5 o; E& `1 LA broad based, solid understanding of the business of pipelines is important.
