i use it on highway most of time, only once it alarmed and 1 cop came from opposite direction. it about 5 sec time ahead. i found out it helps a little, not much. because it gives u fause singal some time, and u dont know where the heck the laser beam come from. $ c% w2 @9 s' Eas i know, the radar is not legal to use in canada, only ok in some area in usa. so, i'm not use it in city, cops can stop u and give u ticket if they see u use it and they are boring.......
radar detector is ILLEGAL in Canada. It is illegal to have it installed, no matter you use it or not! 4 E2 k; t0 F& T6 i$ L( M" B ( S/ |& z; z- f, b* tIf you buy radar detector anyway, only the high end products: V1, Escape 8500 are useful.

Detectors are legal in all states except Virginia and the District of Columbia. They're legal in the following Canadian provinces as well: Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan.( J" n" l( W; Z& t0 E
